What's it like on the inside! J'adore Orgcom!

Orgcom stands for organizational communication. As a practitioner of this proud profession, I'm here to give an insight on what's it like on the inside!

Why the inside?

It is because as an orgcom practitioner I am inside the very heart of the organization. This means that I act as the very core of the living mechanism of an organization.

How is this?

As an orgcom practitioner, my basic job is to ensure that the lines of communication inside and outside the organization is clear, transparent and ever-flowing. I make sure that information is disseminated correctly and that no miscommunication happens. This is by using communication strategies such as meetings, memos, websites, newsletter, and other media imaginable. The most important thing I do is interpreting meanings of messages happening in my environment. With using that, I take care of organizational image perceived both by members and external audiences. This in turn, maintains the continuing relationships within the organization and when interactions are nurtured. This aids the organization to collectively achieve its unified goal.

Th
is is my importance. I am the glue that keeps the organization intact making sure that it is cohesively working towards its goals.
